The work was inspired by nine different sculptures by Kristen Egan. In my opinion, I see these spirit guides, totems, and reliquaries as protectors and messengers of nature. The sculptures evoke in me the realization of how fragile our planet has become and how important it is for us to do everything we can to save it.
