For piccolo and piano

Written for a wonderful colleague, David Kanyo, who commissioned the piece and premiered at Budapest Music Center in 2023. This two-movement work explores the piccolo’s many lesser-known characters, first in a pensive “French-baroque” style, then in a fun and groovy “American” style.
